Principals

My career in education began in 2014 at Wylie East, where I started my student teaching program through the University of North Texas. In 2015, I completed my student teaching program and accepted a position at Cooper Junior High where I taught U.S. History and College and Career Readiness. In 2021, I moved to Wylie High School where I taught World Geography, Psychology, and Sociology. I joined the Wylie High School administration team in 2022

I have lived in Texas my entire life. My wife and I married in 2009 and we have three amazing children, Thomas, Kate, and Karoline. When I am not at school, I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy spending time outdoors, riding motorcycles, camping, and grilling in my free time.

I came to Wylie ISD in 2010 as a classroom teacher. Since 2010, I have enjoyed many different roles within the district, but I am most honored and thrilled to be a part of the Davis family as the 5^th grade assistant principal this year.  With over twenty years of educational experience and a genuine passion for nurturing student success, I am eager to collaborate with the dedicated faculty and incredible students here.  Thank you for entrusting me with your student.  Together, we will strive for academic excellence and personal growth.

I was honored to be named Assistant Principal of Davis Intermediate in 2020. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, I served as a classroom teacher in various content areas at Davis for over ten years. My journey as an instructional leader continues to fuel my love for learning and cultivating a growth mindset. I am grateful for the collaboration that parents and members of our community provide to support the constant goal of striving to ensure the social, emotional, and academic growth for ALL students. 

 The small window of opportunity to impact a child’s perspective is a huge challenge that I strive to live up to each day. Thank you for trusting me with your precious gifts.
