Cody Summers - Principal & Campus Behavior Coordinator
Hello, my name is Cody Summers and I’m proud to be the Principal at Davis Intermediate. I have worked in education for over 20 years. My past experience includes four years in Lake Travis ISD (SPED teacher/coach), two years in Leander ISD (SPED teacher), and have been in Wylie ISD since 2008, working at Draper Intermediate (SPED teacher and Assistant Principal), and here at Davis as the Principal. I graduated from Royse City High School and Texas A&M-Commerce. My wife Jeni is a Special Education Teacher in Wylie and my two children, Bryce and Baylie are proud Wylie Pirates. I always look forward to getting to know all our students and their families!
A quote from Charles Swindoll is one that I stand by in education: "we are all faced with magnificent opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations". I truly agree with this statement and strongly believe that everyone can be successful at whatever they put their mind to.

Asoni White - Assistant Principal
I was honored to be named Assistant Principal of Davis Intermediate in 2020. Prior to becoming an assistant principal, I served as a classroom teacher in various content areas at Davis for over ten years. My journey as an instructional leader continues to fuel my love for learning and cultivating a growth mindset. I am grateful for the collaboration that parents and members of our community provide to support the constant goal of striving to ensure the social, emotional, and academic growth for ALL students.
The small window of opportunity to impact a child’s perspective is a huge challenge that I strive to live up to each day. Thank you for trusting me with your precious gifts.
